2024 Updates


First of all we would like to thank you for your continued loyalty and support, and would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.


Over the past two years our overhead costs have increased significantly - some of which include cat food, cat litter, electricity, insurances and our license! We have tried to absorb these inflated costs for as long as possible but are now in a position where we need to increase our daily rates. We are also now VAT registered and all our 2024 daily rates are inclusive of VAT. Our new daily rates will be effective for all new bookings and unconfirmed bookings from 1st January 2024. Any confirmed booking (must be confirmed by 31st December 2023) will be honoured at the 2023 daily rate, however, the outstanding booking balance will be subject to VAT - if this impacts you, you will be contacted separately before 1st January 2024.


1. Daily Rates

 

From the 1st January 2024, all of our daily rates will be increasing. Any confirmed bookings made by 31st December 2023, will be honoured at the current daily rate, however, the outstanding balance will be subject to a VAT charge. All bookings checking in from the 1st January 2024, will be subject to VAT. We will be sending announcements via WhatsApp and email to all existing 2024 bookings. Confirmed 2024 bookings will be honoured at the 2023 daily rate but will be required to pay VAT on the remaining booking balance.

Q. What is a confirmed booking?A booking is only a confirmed booking once a deposit has been paid.

Q. Why have you had to increase your rates? 

All of our supplier and electricity costs have increased significantly over the past two years. As a result, we have had to increase our daily rates to cover these inflated costs which we can no longer absorb. 

Q. Why are your suite prices more expensive than other catteries single guest runs? 

At Meow Manor our standard Superior suites are larger than other catteries 'double sized' suites. We do not offer a single sized suite at Meow Manor. 


2. Deposits

 

Our existing non-refundable deposit requirement of £20 per cat per week/part week will be changing to a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking price. 


3. Opening Hours

 

From 1st January 2024 we will be closed for check-in and check-outs for all UK bank holidays. Appointments are allocated on a first come first served basis. We aim to respond to enquiries within 2 working days. If you call outside of our opening hours, please leave a voicemail message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

4. Online Portal

 

We have a new online portal launching! Existing clients will be able to create a user login to view booking invoices, make changes to personal information and your cats information. For existing customers you must register using the the same email address linked to your existing

account. This is the same email address we have previously sent booking emails to. The online portal will allow you to make new booking requests.
